Lisa has completed her Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Statistics with Music at Acadia University. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Applied Mathematics, and wants to combine math and music in future research. She has been tutoring at Zylor Education for more than 2 years.

Tonis graduated with an Honours degree in Biomedical Science. He graduated from Teacher's College and is now an Ontario Certified Teacher . He has been tutoring at Zylor Education for the last 5 years. Tonis teaches math, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Fun Fact: Tonis participated in 13 running and triathlon events in 2019 and many since then. His hobby is to create music.

Kathlyn graduated from York University with an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mathematics for Education. She then obtained her Ontario Teachers Certification and is currently teaching math in high school .She plans to pursue a career in teaching mathematics. She has been with Zylor Education for the last 5 years.

Fun fact: Kathlyn loves going to concerts and has been to at least 20 concerts so far. She tries to attend at least one show a year. 

Amanda is in her fifth year of an Honours Bachelor of Arts program for Applied Mathematics and a minor in English hoping to pursue a teaching degree in the years to come.  Amanda has been tutoring with Zylor Education for a few years.

Fun Fact: Amanda is a professional musician and has done hundreds of shows and events around the world since she was 6 years old.

Kai is a graduate from the university of Waterloo with an bachelor's of science degree in biology and a Masters in mechanical engineering. He is currently working in the nuclear energy industry. Kai has been with Zylor Education for just under a year.

Fun Fact: Kai has tried a lot of board games and knows how to play most of them out there.

Krishna graduated from the University of Waterloo with an Honours Bachelor of Mathematics. He is pursuing a Masters in in Data Science and Machine Learning.

Fun Fact: Krishna recently backpacked across Eastern Europe for his graduation trip, visiting countries like Greece, Albania and Montenegro.

Bio: Amiel graduated from Trent University Durham with a Double Major in English and Sociology as well as an Emphasis in Teacher Education (2016-2020). Amiel also attended Trent's Teacher's College (2020-2022) - where he uses this invaluable experience within his individual tutoring sessions to foster his student's learning and development. 

Fun Fact: In his previous work experience, he was chosen to lead an event that featured a cooking night with Serge Ibaka (an NBA player for the Toronto Raptors at the time). T

Jyothis holds a PhD in Engineering Physics from the University of Montreal and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Lakehead University, Thunder Bay. With over 11 years of teaching experience, she has inspired countless students in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Dr. Thomas has published more than 20 research articles in physics and remains dedicated to her passion for teaching and helping students excel academically.

Fun Fact: When she’s not teaching, Jyothis trades equations for exploration! As a YouTuber and travel vlogger, she loves capturing and sharing her adventures from around the world.

Benjamen Graduated from York University with an Honours Bachelor of Science and from the University of Toronto with a Master of Science. He aims to pursue a career in Research and Development Chemistry.

Fun Fact: Benjamen's favourite sport is curling; he has been playing it since 2010.

Dinesha graduated from Lakehead University with a Masters in Education with over 10 years of experience teaching high school physics. He is very passionate about making science approachable and exciting for students

Fun Fact: When he is not teaching, he loves hiking and exploring nature. He thinks of change in potential energy while climbing mountain trails.

Megan graduated from Trent University with an honours bachelor of science degree in Forensic Science. She plans to pursue a bachelor of education to become an OCT with her teachable’s being Math and Science

She is a student at the University of Toronto in Mississauga doing a degree in Forensic Biology and hopes to have a career in the same field.

Priyanka is a passionate and dedicated math educator. She specializes in teaching a wide range of topics, from basic arithmetic to advanced calculus. With 10 years of teaching experience and highest Master degree in Mathematics with distinction, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a student-centered approach to the classroom.

Known for her ability to make math relatable and engaging, she uses real-life examples and interactive teaching methods to foster a love for learning. Her goal is to build students' confidence, enhance problem-solving skills, and create a supportive environment where every learner can thrive.

Bio: Venkata has a strong background in pharmaceutical sciences and regulatory affairs. He holds a Pharm.D. and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Regulatory Affairs. With years of academic experience, he specializes in simplifying complex chemistry concepts to help students excel in their studies. His goal is to make chemistry engaging and relatable by connecting it to real-world applications in the pharmaceutical and regulatory fields.

Fun Fact: He is a South Indian vegetarian who enjoys exploring the science behind everyday things, like how ingredients react in cooking

Tess graduated from the University of Western in 2021 with an Honours Specialization Bachelors Degree in English Language and Literature. Tess plans to pursue developmental editing and has a debut novel coming out in 2026.

Fun Fact: Tess comes from a large family, with over 20 aunts and uncles and over 40 first cousins.

Ashiful Bhuiyan holds a degree in Mathematical Physics from Trent University and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Data Science. 

Fun Fact: Enjoys developing math and physics apps, tools and simulations. Particularly with Chaotic Systems. Also enjoys integrating automation into as many aspects of life as possible.

Teagan is a fourth year honours chemistry student at the University of Waterloo. Her forte is Chemistry tutoring.
